Are you looking for a great spot in Erie for a family photo session? Look no further! Here are some of my favorite session locations in Erie and the surrounding area!
Presque Isle (obviously!)
If you're like my family, your summer isn't complete until you've visited a Presque Isle beach! With gorgeous paths, paved walkways, and beautiful beaches, the peninsula is the perfect place for a family photo shoot!
Downtown Erie has some absolutely beautiful historic buildings. If you're looking for a more urban setting, take advantage of our local small businesses along State Street, check out the renovations being made by Erie Insurance, and the fountain at Perry Square Park! Don't forget to grab a treat for the kiddos from Ye Ole Sweet Shoppe while you're downtown!
If you're looking to add a little nature to your photos, but don't want to travel too far from the city, check out Frontier Park! With beautifully landscaped walking paths, this park provides a gorgeous background as well as accessibility. Make sure to let the kiddos check out the playground, new slides, and little library before you leave!
If you'd like to head out of town for a more rural setting, check out Erie Bluffs State Park. You'll find beautiful, grassy paths, open fields, and if you wander far enough, a great view of the lake! Make sure to check out Twisted Elk Brewery after your shoot!
One of my absolute favorite locations is Lake Erie Community Park! It has beautiful, tall trees which are stunning in the Fall. It boasts an incredible view of the lake, as well as a paved walkway. Make sure to let your kiddos check out the playground and don't forget to look for eagles while you're there! On your way out, be sure to stop at the Dairy Oasis for some sweet treats!
